Sweet is her impression of Elsa! Jyn doesn't have Disney princess in her vocabulary to call her such; the reference would be lost on both of them. She does try to get an impression, however, closing her eyes and thinking about the woman with the cold hands and the bright eyes the color of Bodhi's flight suit.
"She's not like us." War torn and broken. War and loss made Jyn hard and brittle, still fighting against the softness that peeks out like light. "But she's strong and very kind. I just met her."
"If she ends up being a homebody you can always hang out here." There, that's...the offer, more or less. "If you wanted an empty house for a while." He doesn't feel the need to add that she can spend time at with him at Go Ask Alice instead because she already does that, it's a given.
"Strong and very kind is good." Hopefully...well. Hopefully Jyn can make a friend in this Elsa.
"Mmm," she hums thoughtfully, something like agreement but more in acknowledgement. She doesn't like the disruption, she doesn't trust it, but her instincts tell her to trust Elsa so she wants to try. Maybe prove to herself that she has something left, that life and circumstance haven't stripped her of even the ability to try to be a normal human being.
Cassian is so good at it.
"When will you be home tonight?" Just in case trying is too difficult.
Cassian would argue that he is good at lying and faking it, and those are very different things. The way his mind works, in the middle of the night when no one is around would be a testament to not being 'good' at being a normal human being.
"Probably in about an hour. Hour and a half, tops."
It's almost comforting that Jyn knows these workaholic tendencies are a hold over from the rebellion, wondering idly if Cassian knows how to take a break. She doesn't think so but part of her wants to force him to take time off though she doesn't know how because it's not like they can leave for a vacation.
Instead: "Can you bring me some lemon cookies on your way home?"
Cassian takes mental stock of what they've got in the back as far as supplies and makes a noise in the positive tonality. He does not, for the record, know how to take a break. Too bad Kay isn't here to suggest things like 'spiking Cassian's coffee with a sleep aid'.
That is not a question and Jyn breathes out a scoff. "Frosted. With that really thin icing. What's that called? Glaze! Glazed lemon cookies."
See! She pays attention to Cassian's work.
"I'll you later, Andor." She feels better with the idea of Elsa after talking it out with someone she trusts and so she hangs up on Cassian feeling calmer and steadier knowing she's going to see him anyway, even if he isn't making her dinner.
